Mexico

Mexico  has  8,300  miles  of  border,  over  6,000  miles  of coastline, and is touched by four major bodies of water: the Pacifc Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, the Sea of Cortes, and the Caribbean Sea.  It  is bordered on  the north by  the United States  and  on  the  southeast  by  Guatemala  and  Belize. Covering almost 2 million square kilometers (over 760,000 sq mi), Mexico is the fifth-largest country in the Americas by total area and the 13th largest independent nation in the world.

 

The interesting and stunning diversity of Mexico’s 32 states is truly abundant. Each state has countless touristic destinations offering a wide array of activities: professional golf courses, tasteful cuisine, excellent flight connections. Hence, there are many ways to experience the culture and friendliness of Mexico.

 

Location

The geography of Mexico entails not only its physical aspect but also its people. Mexico is a country situated in the Americas, comprising much of southern North America.  Mexico is also described as within the region of Middle America. It borders to the north with the United States (specifically, from west to east with California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas), to the west and south with the Pacific Ocean, to the east with the Gulf of Mexico, and to the southeast with Belize, Guatemala, and the Caribbean Sea. It is a northern constituent of Latin America, and it is the most populous Spanish-speaking country in the world.


Caribbean Destinations

Home to the largest coral reef in the Americas.
