Embera Indigenous VillageWe will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you in a deluxe air conditioned bus to take you to the Chagres River. Once there you will board and have a peaceful ride in a dugout canoe. Then we will take you for a short walk (medium level) of about 20 minutes to take you to a beautiful waterfall. After that we will arrive to the Emberã Indians, which are known as “Keepers of the Rainforest”. The Indians, will welcome the visitors with happy music of drums and then let you walk around their village and give to you a short speech with their history. A very local lunch will be served, based on the catch of the day fish, green plantain and fruits. We recommend you bring cash, so you can purchase their economic and nice art craft. |
