Rincon de La Vieja National Park

Description

Hike through the foothills of the nearest active volcano in the Guanacaste area. Here you will witness secondary volcanic activity like fumaroles, mud pots and bubbling hot water. In the rainy season you will also see beautiful waterfalls. The 2 mile path will give you the chance to learn about the tropical rainforest and look at wildlife species such as monkeys, toucans, and coatis (tropical raccoons).
