Garrafón

Garrafón park by Dolphin Discovery is a facility where you will be able to practice snorkel in the natural area, to enjoy a diversity fishes of colors in the second largest coral reef.

• • Facilities: Located in latitude 21º12’05.2’’ north and longitude 86º42’39’’ east.
• • One of the house rules with the ambiance protection and marine life, they allowed each customer to use ONLY biodegradable lotion.
• • Garrafon park do not permitted the access of food and beverages, pets, guns or radio stereo. Not allow balls or plastic toys.
• • Garrafon Park would not be responsible per accidents that may occur inside the park.
• • Activities and schedules are subject to weather conditions.

Lockers: They have 546 lockers exclusive for their customers that acquire either Royal Garrafón or Garrafón Discovery packages.

Towels: they offer towel service in their Royal Garrafón packages.

• • 3,000 yards of gardens, 159 palm trees and more than 9,000 plants from the region.

Photo and Video: They met and greet each customer with their photo service as a welcome at Garrafon park, also during the zip line experience, reef snorkeling, claiming tower and bicycle tour.

Snorkel: The Snorkel area has 4 mts deep and 320 meters long, it’s easy to appreciate the coral reef and the diversity of colors tropical fishes. The snorkel equipment it’s included in packages Royal Garrafon and Garrafon Discovery, free snorkel tube as a souvenir.

Kayaks: You will be able to practice this activity in their limited area of the Mexican Caribbean. It gives you the opportunity to practice kayaking at any age above 10 years old. Requires:

• 1. Above 10 years.
• 2. Child under 10 years old (accompanied by an adult )
• 3. Each participant must use the life jacket
• 4. 14 kayaks available.

Marine Platforms and tube floats: Two platforms located in the ocean in front of the ref. area. The tube floats has 40 meters, it’s consider a extreme activity to cross from one side to the other only using the rope floating holding only from hands and feets.
NOTE: Due security reasons LIFE JACKET must be used in activities : Snorkel, Kayakcs and tube floats.

Claim Tower

• • Activity for extreme guest, to claimed a tower of 8 mts. High.
• • The objective is to get at the top in less time.
• • Activity can be practice only from 13 years old

Pool

• • The pool has 60 mts. long with a 90 cm deep. Children area 50cm deep high.
• • It has a cascade with a humid wall where the water runs to end up at the pool area.

Aditional Activities

Zip Line: A person sits on a high platform and is attached by their harness to a cable line that decreases in height at the end. When the person leaves the platform they take an exciting ride as the wheel pulley rolls down the cable. 10 minutes activitie. It has 4 platforms of 3 on the ground and 1 platform in the ocean, a unique activity in Yucatán Peninsula. It requires participants older than 13 years. Activity included in Royal Garrafon packages. Capacity: 70 pax per day.

Bicycle tour: During the ride tour guided you will have the opportunity to ride at Punta Sur and visit the Caribbean town, and the temple of Mayan goddess Ixchel (Goodness of Fertility), then you will have a moment to enjoy the wonderful view of Cancun and Mexican Caribbean. This activity is only included in Royal Garrafon packages. Daily Schedules: 11:00, 12:00 and 13:00 Capacity: 18 pax
