Victor Alejandro Jimenez Garnica

I was born on August 8th., 1987 in Mexico City. Thanks to my parents support, I have been always surrounded by a musical environment and I have had the pride to follow my father steps under his guidance and knowledge acquired through his large musical experience.

I was started in music at a very early age, taking guitar, keyboard and bass guitar lessons at different music schools in Mexico city. After that, I had private instructors who helped me improve in several techniques, while I was also learning to play the drums at the Music Workers Union in Mexico City.

An advantage of being surrounded by professional musicians has been so important in my career, as I have been fortunate for playing with the best musicians who have acompanied artists such as: Emmanuel, Luis Miguel, Jose Jose, Rocio Durcal, Juan Gabriel, Manuela Torres, Yuri, Mijares, Perez Prado, Pandora, Laura Flores, Los Hnos. Castro, among others.
I arrived to Cancun in 2005 and I have worked in some of the best hotels and restaurants in the hotel zone, Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, Isla Mujeres, Cozumel and downtown Cancun.

As my main achievements, I have played in different Carnivals, opening concerts for groups, such as: Pesado, Intocable, Belanova, Gloria Trevi, Kalimba, Pilar Montenegro, Rayito Colombiano, El Chapo de Sinaloa, La Sonora de Margarita, among others.
